Don’t Be A Writing Tool – Know Them! A Breakdown of Screenwriting Tools You Need to Know

screenwriting-toolsSometimes our office gets requests for skilled grads to provide more than just a resume and/or cover letter.  Since our degree is Creative Writing, some companies look for something more from our writers.

In these instances, we’ll subsequently get questions from the grads:  What’s the difference between a tagline and logline?  How’s a treatment different from a synopsis?  And so on.

Thankfully, Script Magazine has now provided a resource to answer these and other questions about certain screenwriting terminologies when it comes to presentation of work.

Please refer to this early and often before you go and write a five page one sheet.
